Today we continued with Osteopathic treatment of a 56 year old, with a diagnosed tendinitis of the right hand, elbow and shoulders. 1yr diagnosed. Stiff joints. Pain in hands. Cold°, Heat. Swelling of joints.
Consultant for Tendinitis. Headaches°
pain and numbness in the arm and hand (Brachial Neuritis). Treatment comprised of Osteopathic manipulation of the cervical spine, Osteopathic mobilisation of the cervical spine, traction and Osteopathic neuromuscular massage. Acupuncture was used to help reduce pain and inflammation in the neck and calm the nerves. The patient felt immediate relief and more flexibility in the hand, relief of pain in the neck and shoulders.
